Student Oral Contest Presentations

The AACC Student Poster Contest showcases AACC's finest young scientists. The contest consists of two sessions:

The first session is an oral competition with four pre-selected students presenting their work. A panel of judges rates the presentations on the basis of scientific content, originality/novelty, and presentation (including slide appearance, verbal presentation, style, and clarity). Four awards are given: first place, second place, and two honorable mentions.

The second session of the competition consists of poster presentations. Over 60 posters will be displayed and reviewed. Judges will evaluate each poster individually in timed rounds. Student presenters are rated on their ability to convey their work concisely, as well as the scientific merit and visual presentation of their poster. Four awards are given: first place, second place, and two honorable mentions.
