Implementation of Quality Controls

Converting to a New Provider to Support Laboratory Efficiencies—Experience From Germany

Tuesday, August 6, 7:00 – 8:30 a.m.
Anaheim Marriott, Grand C
Supported by Thermo Fisher Scientific

Converting quality controls within the laboratory can become a large activity for any laboratory. Given that labs are always looking for ways to improve productivity, clinical outcomes, and save on costs, looking at third party providers can offer an option to support all three of these goals. We will be discussing why and how this can be done without upsetting day to day activities given the importance of a good quality control program for the laboratory.

Attendees will learn:

  • Why looking at new third party control providers can provide a better solution for not only productivity, but also a better overall quality control program.
  • Things to consider when switching quality control providers.
  • How to effectively convert to a new quality control provider within the laboratory.
